Over the years, we have been "treated" to distortions, fabrications, and outright lies, as one President after another has submerged the nation into an endless series of conflicts in the name of saving humanity.

Before we entered WW ll, British Intelligence Agents manufactured surveys conducted by the Gallup Organization to build enthusiasm for the draft. Evidence suggests Roosevelt knew in advance of the impending attack on Pearl Harbor, but withheld the information in order to create a "trigger point" for our involvement in the war.

Lyndon Johnson fabricated an incident in Viet Nam’s  Gulf of Tonkin to use as his "trigger point" for drawing us into the Viet Nam war. George Bush fabricated an incident, in which he alleged a young woman was repeatedly gang raped by Iraqi thugs, as his "trigger point" for engaging us in the Gulf  War. And now Clinton is using still another fabricated event to draw the United States into a serious religious war which has been festering since the 1300’s.

In this latest instance, the U.S. State  Department’s William Walker accused the Serbs of massacring civilians in the Racak area of Kosovo. Although strongly criticized as totally false by two French newspapers who  had video-taped the entire event ("Le Figaro" and "Le Monde"), the Administration, together with a compliant Congress, used the alleged atrocity as their “trigger point” for our bombing of the sovereign nation of Yugoslavia.

The war of lies was in full swing!

According to the New York Times, western journalists caught NATO in another lie when their military spokesman (David Wilby of Britain) announced that Professor Fehmi Agani and four other prominent ethnic-Albanian  leaders had been executed. This was well covered by the media. Shortly thereafter, Agani  and at least one other leader were found alive and well. This received only minimal media  coverage. And who started the rumor? It was none other than the United State’s own  General Wesley Clark.

Human Rights Watch reported that Baton Haxhiu, editor-in-chief of Koha Ditore, was assasinated by the Serbs. This received wide media coverage. Haxhiu was found alive and well a few days later. This received no major media coverage.

Yes, although Racek was the Big Lie NATO warlords used to justify their foray into a sovereign country, it wasn’t to be the last!
