Climate Change Gateway
This section is dedicated to exploring the climate change issue with facts... and not with the hyperbole, hysteria, distortions, and outright fraud found in the Lamestream Media (ABCNNBCBS).
Consider the following:
- The “Dynamic Duo” (Clinton-Gore) proclaimed 2,611 scientists signed a letter about global climatic disruption. The reality was that within that number of 2,611, there were only 182 experts who were in any way related to weather and the climate. The remainder included lawyers, two landscape architects, a philosopher, a dermatologist, a diplomat.... and even a gynecologist.
While the “Dynamic Duo” lied about the 2,611 “scientists” signing a letter about global climatic disruption, over 18,000 true scientists have signed the Oregon petition urging the U.S. government to reject the 1997 Kyoto Protocol. The petition states in part that “There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.”
These 18,000 scientists include more than 2,000 physicists and climatologists, and includes more than 80 percent of the atmospheric scientists in the United States. To put it another way, this is approximately 20 times the number of actual scientists who signed the Clinton-Gore global warming petition.
- Up until 1998, the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) faithfully depicted the existence of both the Medieval Warm Period (700-1300AD) and the the Little Ice Age 1560-1830AD), long considered to be classic examples of the warm and cold phases of a millennial-scale climate oscillation.
But then the IPCC discovered these two periods exposed their manufactured “global warming” hysteria to be a hoax. So what did they do? They deleted both of these important periods of world climate history right out of their books!
- The scientist attributed to the creation of the global warming hysteria now claims that perhaps carbon dioxide created by the burning of fossil fuels may not be the culprit causing “global warming” after all. Instead, he argues, that any warming over the past century was probably caused by other gases such as methane and chlorofluorocarbons (to read more, click HERE).
It's unfortunate the Lamestream Media has lied to the public regarding this issue. But then again, their function seems to be creating controversy in order to gain audience share.
